Queen To Release Her First Fragrance

Now before you get too excited, that’s Queen as in Latifah, not The Queen. The fragrance, simply called Queen, has been created in collaboration with Parlux Fragrances who seem to be on a little bit of a Hip Hop roll of late having previously signed up Jay-Z and mates Rihanna and Kanye West.

Described by Latifah as “warm and sexy”, Queen opens with citrusy notes of bergamot and mandarin mixed with a shot of tequila followed by cognac (is this starting to sound like a cocktail?), coriander, rose and jasmine noir on a sandalwood, incense and vanilla musk base. Available as an eau de parfum, Queen is expected to hit shelves in the US this August with an international roll-out shortly afterwards.
