Leona Lewis To Release Her Own Perfume

It was only a matter of time really but it looks like Leona has finally succumbed to the pop diva lifestyle with news that she’s to follow in the footsteps of JLo, Britney and Mariah Carey by launching her own perfume. I vaguely recall rumours in the past of her saying that she would never release a perfume but never say never it seems.

Word is that she’s had numerous approaches before this (Elizabeth Arden perhaps? They’re responsible for Britney Spears’ perfume success.) Instead, like Christina Aguilera, she’s decided to team up with German beauty company LR, known for its ethical products. That’s a smart business move if you consider that LR is a direct sales company (like Avon) with representatives worldwide and huge sales. Not bad for a 23 year old who, a year ago, was a receptionist for a mortgage broker.
